I'll definitely have enough water no worries there.
Drinking too much water can intensify keto flu. It's your salt, potassium and magnesium levels you need to pay attention to. Salt mostly, to be honest. Too much water will flush the electrolytes out of your system and if not replaced will make that keto flu worse. That said, you still need plenty of water, just make sure you keep those salt and potassium levels replenished.

About to go in for chest and some cardio.
This week I'm gonna crack 215. That's the goal anyway.
I ate like a fat kid on vacation all weekend.

I'm feeling good for how badly I defiled myself for 48 hours.
I plan on getting pretty strict now. I'm seeing light at the end of the tunnel.

I had a great week until Friday night...then I let it rip. Back on the train now.

Looks like I'm fasting for 24 hours.
It's so much easier to do when I'm not sitting at a desk all day.

yea friday I went crazy and I had to make up for it saturday and sunday.
Yesterday I weighed in at 190.9 and at 11.49% BF according to calipers(working backwards from the caliper measurements I took the same day I had my last bod pod measurement done)
Getting really really strict these next few weeks. Hoping to get to under 7% by July 8th when I leave for vacation.
Gonna try and have another Bod pod done in New Orleans at the place lesterearl posted sometime towards the end of June.

oh ok, just as good for my purpose. I don't really care, I just wanna see the accuracy of the calipers. Last time they were about 1.5 or so above the bod pod using the 7 site formula.

been back in the gym for going on 6 weeks straight now. 3 of which have been doing Grey Skull. Both squats and bench are closing in on where my highest lifts were previously which I'm pretty pumped about. Today was 215 squat (225 5x5 was my highest in SL) and 165 bench and my highest previously was 170 or 175. Bench felt great today, I feel like today was one of those moments where things just clicked. I could feel my legs engaged the whole lift/set etc, it just felt different than usual. squats are tough to crank out now, but each time I think I might not make it to 5+ I get to at least 6 on my amrap, so I'll keep grinding away. although it is nearly time for me to implement the 2.5lb gains instead of 5lb.

quote:Thanks! I tried keto once and lost about 40 or 50 pounds, so it works. I gained it all back, however. This time, I did calorie-counting and that seems to be easier for me to stick to. Different strokes, though.
Keto just happened to be the easiest/most sustainable for me.

Is bigger, leaner, stronger the book he kept strongly recommending to read first? I can't remember which one it was

Awesome, gonna check it out. Is there a second one you'd reccomend? I have a ton of prints left for the semester and I intend to burn every last one of them
And thanks again for the Pels tix earlier in the season

I don't have any recommendations. LSU777 told me to read it. I'm actually looking for something to read myself.
No problem

Got up and walked in the AM, fasted through lunch, and only had about 1400 calories on the day.. up .6 this AM. Weight loss can be frustrating as frick, but I know it's just a normal fluctuation and ultimately there's just no way I put on fat yesterday.
Trying to get into the habit of waking up earlier. Getting up 5 minutes earlier each day and doing some light exercise. Doing this until I get used to getting up at 5AM, then I'll turn up the intensity of the workouts.
