this place is an Indian restaurant in a gas station at the Hammond exit off 12.
holy shite it’s good

I got a bunch of stuff and it’s all incredible

highest recommendation
get it spicy (3 out of 4 on the spice level they offer)

the main Hammond exit at 51
it’s just south of the exit on the east side of the traffic circle

There is no traffic circle at the main 51 exit off I-12. That would be Morrison Blvd.

Whoops! This would be the Hammond Mall exit. Sorry.

We pulled in there a few weeks ago but wasn’t open yet. I’ll seriously drive there from Mandeville just for some good Indian food.

It’s right next to that Arby’s gas station. They have a bunch of roundabouts now.

We all know it as the mall exit, let's go with that. I will have to stop in one day.

Any idea what the new place in downtown will be? It is across the street from cate square park. Looks like some kind of brick oven in the window.

You talking about the place that has the whole patio set up in the front, across from the skate shop kind of? I've been wondering that too.

I went here last night. Really good food. Pretty cool atmosphere eating in a gas station. They have a section set aside for tables. Owner/chef/server is a very nice guy. Had butter chicken, coconut chicken and chicken with spinach sauce and mixed flat bread basket. All very good. No liquor license and cannot BYOB but the food was so good I didn't care.

I went back Friday after work and picked up to go
went all vegetarian plus garlic naan and it was even better than the first time.

after all that Indian food this week I’m paying the toll but it’s totally worth it

Drove all the way in from Mandeville Saturday. It’s damn good. The gas station setup is odd, but it’s clean and neat and the food is great.

They just started doing a lunch buffet like 2 weeks ago. I want to say it is $12.99. Every week it gets a little less weird that I am eating lunch at a gas station.

They have a great red bean dish that I had never had before. I already forgot the name though.
