I've cooked hamburgers on it for the past 2 weekends in a row. Just so easy and it doesn't dry anything out like grilling. I've cooked hibachi on it (can't hold a candle to Ichibans), breakfast. Anything that can be done on a flat surface.

you can cook your bacon, your eggs, your hash browns, your french toast, your sausage......ALL AT THE SAME TIME!
I understand, but I do that now. It's called using pots and pans on the stove. Small pot for grits, large frying pan for bacon, small pan for eggs. My cooktop is a big 5 burner, so I actually have more burners than I need for breakfast-----and it uses natural gas, so no need to fill tanks.

Just ordered the griddle, cover and scraper. Can't wait to use this thing. Assuming there is some assembly required?

Cleaning 4-5 pots and pans is more time involved than just cleaning a cooktop though.

Yeah, our back deck is fantastic in the fall so I plan on getting one before fall so I can cook breakfast every weekend out there. And with football season, fire it back up for burgers or cheesesteaks or fajitas or something for the afternoon.

We do shrimp fried rice all the time, but we use cauliflower rice instead. I can't tell the difference.

Yeah its not bad. The hardest part is lifting the griddle by yourself as its heavy, but I'm not in any sort of physical condition to brag about and it was fairly easy for me.

True .. but if you live in an apartment sometimes you have to tuck it back in.

yeah, that's a waste of my time. You catch the fish and fry em. I'll eat em.

Been wanting one of these, but I'm just not sure how much I'd use it.
the majority of our meals are pan seared protein and sauteed veggies, so I'll use this thing all the time once the weather cools off a bit
its going to be beautiful on my new porch
for those that have it, does the grease splatter much? might need to get a small outdoor rug or something to go under it to try and protect my floors a bit

If you're cooking on a deck get a grill mat for it.

The hamburgers I have done throw off a lot of grease as you can imagine. Doesn't splatter much. Such a larger cooking area unless you have them on the edges it shouldn't be a problem.
Someone posted the grease catching mod. That is a must have. Got that after reading about it on here months ago.

OMG rear grease drain on new model. I feel cheated.
