goot do know. So is the blackstone cover good enough? or do you need another more waterproof tarp?

I just use the blackstone cover. I do have a couple of 1" X 4' pieces of wood under the cover to keep it from laying on the griddle.

Just a tip. Don’t try to do eggs on it for a while. Let it get seasoned really well before you do that. I learned the hard way.

Accessories. I got the surround for mine. Great when you're doing something with lots of different ingredients with different cook times like Philly cheesesteaks or hibachi.

Someone who has this, if I'm not going to be cooking for more than 6 people on most occasions, do I need a 36''? I know it's better to have more room than less and I could meal prep on multiple griddles etc.

Price isn't some huge object for me but I also don't want a huge unnecessary space that I never use.

I'm rarely cooking for more than 3 people and I got the 36"

I have the space for it, so for me, I look at it as one of those things where I'll be glad I have the 36" when I need it, like at birthday parties or have people over

Plus I just like the extra room. Food cooks faster when it isn't crowded.

Unless space is just really tight, I cant' imagine why an added 8" would be a bad thing.

like a jambalaya pot, you can always cook less. but, it's nice to have the extra space when you need it.

Yea that's my feeling I think; you can have plates/spices etc on the griddle on places you aren't using so I guess it's exactly like the oven top. Having 4 is better than having 2
