My HEB had about five prime Briskets from $42 which was larger than the two of us need.

I found a reasonable sized one once and it was well worth getting the prime over the
Choice but they are hard to find.

The choice one I bought was $24 and at about 10 pounds.

Got it rubbed with S and P and wasyoursister in the fridge.,

HEB by me always has incredible meat prices, it’s great. I don’t hesitate to smoke something almost every weekend.

They even always have pork belly, beef ribs, etc which I find most places don’t always keep in stock.

HEB is the bomb.com. I usually bring an ice chest when I go visit family and buy prime steaks to bring home.

We need more HEBs in DFW. There is one in Granbury that I know if and I always hit it when visiting my mom.

This is one of the many reasons why Houston is much better than Dallas.

New HEB just opened in Willow Park right off of I-20. About 15 minutes west of Fort Worth. It’s the tits.

There is a shop in town that sells wagyu brisket at cost to get people in the door and they are freakin incredible when smoked. I can’t remember the name of it I’ll have to try and find it but I remember a wagyu brisket was about $50.

prime Briskets from $42

Good God that's cheap. I smoked one for Father's Day and it was $75.00. Granted that was a full 17lb packer but it was over $4.00lb. And that was at Sam's.

I got a prime brisket at Sam's a few weeks ago. It wasn't much more expensive than choice.

Damn, it was good. Served it at a party, and everyone was saying it was the best they had ever had. I don't know if I got lucky on the cook, or the meat was just that much better quality, but I will be splurging again to try to find out.
