I gotcha. All I'm saying is ask for extra. If they give you more than you want, scrape some off.
If they short you on sauce and you are already home with your sandwich, well then that's no good.

It's sad to imagine the millions of slaughtered chickens it took to bring this sandwich back. Poor poor little steroided and over fed chickens.

Sandwich is not worth it over CFA. The wait and people serving suck so bad. It’s a tad better with the bun and pickles but not by much. In the end it’s still fast food and nowhere near a good home cooked one.

Lines have seemed to die down over here. Still a decent wait but nowhere near the craziness of the past 5 days.

I disagree! The crunch of Popeyes chicken sandwich rules and their pickles are thicker so they don't steam cook in the wrapper.
Had my first one today - it was awesome!
Edited to add: we ate inside the restaurant and had a 20 min wait. The sandwiches were being pulled for the drive thru line first to keep it moving.

Popeyes Mufreesboro pike by airport in Nashville, was out yesterday. So I got a large red beans and 2 biscuits and called it a day.

I had my first PSCS yesterday in northwest Houston. Was in the area for work. Noticed a Popeyes on Hwy 529 at 9:30 A.M. on the way to my meeting. Got me thinking afterwards, I should go check out the new PSCS.
Meeting was quick and efficient. I get to Popeyes at 10:30. Only one car in the line. I order two spicy chicken sandwiches. One with extra sauce.
I pull over in the parking lot and it was glorious. Both sandwiches were fresh / piping hot. Pickles brought incredible flavor. The one w extra sauce was more like normal sauce. The regular has barely any sauce. Both amazing. Very satisfying experience. Took 2 min to get my food.
Going forward will def order extra sauce, extra pickles. No brainer. Also, you don't need two sandwiches. At CFA sometimes they come out as sliders.

Agree that the chicken can be small sometimes but y’all are nuts if you think the flavor of Popeyes chicken is better than CFA. Everything around the chicken is better at Popeyes though.

I finally tried one yesterday. It was delicious. But I'm not gonna sit here and say Chick fil A is dethroned. I think both restaurants have their place. Why didn't popeyes think of this years ago, I'll never know.

Just got a spicy and original in Columbia, SC. Ate the spicy one and was reminded of Bojangle's cajun filet, and am expecting a homestyle equivalent when I eat the original. Not bad at all for $4 .

Got one yesterday. It was good but little disappointed considering the great reviews. My filet was chewy. It wasn't think and it might have been over fried.

Made it to the drive thru window at Staring and was told 30-40mins for the chicken sandwich. I left.

You just made the mistake of going to the absolute worst run Popeye's in the southern states. There is a 30 minute wait for anything you order at that location.

I did Uber Eats and ordered three sandwich combos. Cost me $30 but I didn’t have to get off the fricking sofa. I’d rather pay the money than risk getting stabbed.

They dis have it years ago and it was better than this one. They did away with it and started making a chicken pony with chicken strips.
