Is that barf joint still around in BR? used to hit that place up along with Gattis and Shings on the regular. they had coupons we got a book day. Milano pizza too

Of course. It’s great but seems like they aren’t putting much effort into the future. No upgrades, no pride in appearance. I don’t expect it to be around much longer. But their barbecue is usually great.

The BBQ isn’t that good but the beans and potato salad are still great. I’ve gone there every Father’s Day for like 30 years

I’ve never liked the bbq in Baton Rouge. I would go to BRQ on Jefferson if I was to get bbq.

In Baton Rouge…Sonny’s is probably the best when calculating for price, decor and food…Baton Rouge isn’t a great BBQ city. If I’m really craving BBQ I just fire up the smoker.
