House of Nanking on Kearney. The best Chinese food in the city. Just got back from there about an hour ago. It's like no Chinese I've ever had. A must when going to San Fran!!

Also check out the Crab House on Pier 39 for really good Dungeoness Crab.

This list helps me too. We are going to Napa/Sonoma first week of August and spending last two days in San Fran.

I AM a beer snob! Already know about Toranado and will be going there.

Also, there was a great episode of Tony Bourdain's show "the layover" the other day on San Francisco.

Regarding beer. Also make sure to go to City Beer in SOMA as well as Magnolia Brewery on Haight.

They had some pretty good stuff on cask when I went, and their burgers are pretty damn tasty!

Do it. Also, Scopa in Healdsburg is solid if you're looking for a place to eat in Sonoma.
