Dam it is so good

For those that Ive had it how would rank it with your top IPA's? This and tropicalia are probably my top two.

I found it a bit underwhelming. Maybe the hype, but I just thought it was a good ipa. Nothing super special.

Used to think it was great when I drank it on vacation in Florida. Now that it's available in NC, I say it's a solid IPA, but not great.

Being on the beach/at the pool probably made it taste better in my head a few years back. Or maybe they tweaked something when they started brewing it at the Oskar Blues brewery in NC.

I like it. It's all I'll drink when we vacation to Perdido Key.

ETA: It's also the only place I've seen it.

I agree, always enjoy it when in Florida.

It's good but not that good imo.

For me the baseline for a "good" IPA is Stone. Anything better is very good to outstanding. Anything worse is not good to terrible.

I was never a big fan of it. CC has a lot of better beers in my opinion.

Its not an IPA but the Invasion Pale Ale is a good one, I'm not sure if thats just released around Gasparilla but that's the only time I've bought it.

Florida Cracker was my go too when I was in Tampa.

ETA: I'm in the minority of people I know that like ipas but don't love Jai alai

Similar to the tasting room effect at a winery. People think it's incredible and buy a case and when it arrives it's just another good wine and nothing special.

I enjoy it. I can usually find it pretty fresh, too, which seems to be rare for some of the non-local bigger craft guys.

It's right below MIA mega mix and Crank as far as best Florida IPA's go in my opinion. Great balance of juice and hops, especially fresh.

Anyone do a side by side taste test between the ones brewed in Florida vs North Carolina? I thought the Florida one was juicier a few years ago, compared to the NC ones I've had recently. Then again, the ones I had in Florida were before all of the really juicy IPA's that have come out lately so my palate may just be wrecked.
