Ramen if I'm hungry and pho if I'm hungover or sick

That brisket ramen at Kin is probably better than any pho I’ve ever had. However I generally like pho more.

It was definitely tasty but I wish there was more broth. That's one reason I voted for the pho is that it feels like the broth never ends. The ramen is usually more focused on the stuff in the broth.

Agree. Their Hot and Sour Soup, however, is the best I've ever had. Even beats Omi.

Truth.

Hangover at Umami is great; I love the pho at Dang's but their Hu Tieu is even better

I really need to go try this. I see they have a small and a large. What kind of portions are we talking for these?

The portions are generous. I always order the small.

A Ramen shop near me opened up recently. Planning on trying it whenever the lines go down. I think I'd prefer the ramen over pho just because pho is a little sweet to me. But I definitely enjoy both.

Ramen all day for me. I even prefer Tom Yum over Pho.

Sick/hungover = pho or caldo

Cold= ramen or fagioli (or lentil soup)

If I'm just purchasing from random pho house or random ramen house, I prefer pho. But ramen is wildly inconsistent in the US. If you're talking about ramen from somewhere like Momofuku, then I'm all about that ramen.

I get a small hangover, with either the tuna crisp appetizer or (usually) the smoked salmon crostini, and it is SO legit.
