Pho Quynh, with it's vast menu, has really good food, except for their spring rolls, which are average or worse. If Lily (or Lillian?) is working, great service.

Little Saigon has much better spring rolls, but generally bad service. I prefer Pho Quynh, especially if it's a group of us going.

Regardless, I find the Pho at both restaurants to be pretty solid!

I like the pho at both equally. The Banh Mi poboy at Lil Saigon is dinomite but for a more complete menu Pho Quynh is the place to be. Plus the service is better and it's cleaner. And the main server is hawt! Sideway sideway.

After eating at Little Saigon exclusively, Pho Quynh has become my go-to Vietnamese restaurant.

1. I think their pho is better. Very flavorful and they don't skimp on the meat. Also much larger bowls.

2. Large menu. The venison curry, vietnamese wings, beef salad, grilled spicy quail, and sauteed clams are all top notch

3. Service is much better than Little Saigon. While I've never had terrible service at LS, it's always been poor. Many a times we would order drinks and they would come after we got our meal. And good luck getting a refill.

My largest negative for Pho Quyhn is that their spring rolls suck while LS are delicious. I love spring rolls so I always miss this when I got there. Thank the lawd I have Tasty Casian next to my office.

I usually rotate between the pho with everything or the Vietnamese poboy. Spring rolls for an app. I am
worthless in the office after lunch.

I won't argue your comment on which is better, because that is a matter of opinion, but I dine at both frequently and one of the reasons I like the pho at Saigon so much better is they use much more meat every time. It usually comes out stacked above the broth, allowing you to eat it still partially rare. I think that's my favorite part about the pho there.

I think the flavor of broth at LS pimpsmacks Pho Quynh, myself.

Having eaten more than my fair share of both, I respectfully disagree. But you can't go wring with either.

Another plus for PQ is a larger, nicer dining atmosphere (when compared to LS)

Completely agree. It's much richer and has much more color and flavor.

pho quynh has not been good since the new owners have taken over about 6 months ago. the pho there is terrible. i prefer little saigon, dang's or the new place by sonny's bbq. can't remember the name. at pq, the bun dishes the pork is fatty and under seasoned. i do like the quail there.

pho quynh does have pretty good service and is a little less intimidating to americans however.

little saigon is good but the service is slow/non existent and the food is a little greasier.

I just ate at Pho Quynh today. I haven't been for about a year, and can honestly say that their Pho has gotten worse. I too like my meat brought rare and cooking as I eat. The broth is less flavorful that the broth at Drunken Fish, and doesn't touch Little Saigon's.

The place is nice inside, and the people who work there are great. It seems like they are Americanizing a bit too much. I didn't see Ban Mi on the menu--that sucks.

Their pho is ok. The rest is bad. They have it on the menu as a "noodle bowl".
