Well it seems they will be doubling the amount of reserve from last year, around 4K bottles. So if 1/3 of it was barrel aged thats a good bit. probably brewery release only. And I dont know all this for sure, just things I hear and have been told by certian people.

I can confirm the "talk" of there being a barrel aged GR. Possibly. Once the addition is finished with, which should be over the summer, it will open up a few things.

I asked him on GR day if he planned to do a barrel-aged version and he said yes. I'm sure we'll see one sooner or later.

Personally, I'd rather him make an imperial coffee stout.

I'm fine with just a bold imperial stout. Not that I would complain if he chose coffee, but going to Huna level can be over the top a lot of times.

I think every brewery should have a stout or porter in their rotation, mostly because i like them.

Also, wasnt andrew messing around with some sours in barrels already?

He did some type of sour canebrake a while back I got to try.

He wasn't happy with it. I wasn't happy with it either.

Yea. Didn't go so well. The yeast didn't take over like they expected. Was more sweet than sour.
Was a fun experiment though.

I prefer Abita amber over south coast but who cares.

I'm gonna need to get on your list bbrou if they have a BA GR.

I joke about South Coast, but I put it well above Abita. Then again, it may be because it has a better hop profile, not sure if that makes it a good amber though.
