I went to Vega Tapas on Metarie Road the other night and was impressed. We oredered 4 tapas to share between two of us and everything taste good.

Also, try Booty's street food in the Marigny. I've been a few times and they never have failed.

Has to be the most over-recommended place on this board

I've never had a bad meal or experience there, so I recommend it quite often.

I haven't either.

I think Atchafalaya's reputation on this board is a bit undeserved. For the style of food they serve at that price point, it is in the class of some of the big boys. I don't think their food is of that quality.

I feel like they had an extensive vegetarian selection on their menu. We shared the fried oyster salad which was recommended by the server and I was impressed. I ordered the pescado fresco which happened to be salmon along with an order of patatas bravas. Both were exceptional, the garlic alioli on the potatoes was some of the best I've ever tasted. The lady ordered the scallops which was sub par.

I started off with a caiparini which could have used less simple syrup and later ordered a bottle of the Malbec.

Overall, I was satisfied and would defiantly go back to try different things.

Napoleon House. Good food, historical charm and an awesome bar.
