as far as the big chains go I used to think papa's was the best in the beginning
but I'm guessing quality had to go way down for them to stay price competitive with the big guys...or maybe I was just a kid then and thought all pizza was good.

My kids like Papa John's so we get it from time to time, and maybe it's just the one by us but it is incredibly inconsistent, which is baffling for a large chain. It's never really all that good, but every now and then we get a decent pizza, others we get downright awful ones.
