As a habit, I never eat raw oysters north of I-10…

Memphis does have some very good BBQ joints, or you can check out Dyer’s Burgers on Beale. Most unique burger I’ve ever eaten…

I think you'd have better luck;

1. Opening Google Maps
2. Typing "oysters near Memphis, TN"
3. Hitting submit
4. Perusing the queried results

They've got crackers on the table
They've got lemon in the air
And vibrio vulnificus be glad to see you
When you haven't got a prayer
But, boy, you've got a prayer in Memphis

Oy-sters in Memphis
I was walking with my feet 10 feet off of Beale
Month has an R in it for sure
But do I really feel the way I feel

Yeah I only eat oysters from coastal areas. Best i ever had were in Barcelona where they had 6 varieties. Though SeaWitch and others locally are starting to fly in fresh oysters from other areas.

Coastal in Shelby Farms Park will have multiple types of oysters. Not sure if they’ll have gulf oysters. But the food there is great.

I used to get gulf oysters at Moondance Grill in Germantown. I lived next door so I would walk over for oysters and a few beers while watching football.

Just got back from Spain (Basque Country) and had some very tasty oysters (see images below), but the BEST oysters I ever had were Cape Rock oysters in South Africa.

Coastal is your best bet. Hog & Hominy has some pretty good oysters too
