I got a shock when the wife came home from the store a few days ago. I told her to pick up a chuck roast in the 4 lb. range so I could put it in the crock pot with a rich homemade onion/mushroom brown gravy.
She came in and I broke out the meat and saw it was $8.45 a lb.-----for fricking chuck........Shocked the hell out of me at that price.
