It’s that time of year—what are you bringing to the office potluck?

Chili sauce/grape jelly meatballs and smokies. I am not going too far out of my way for those turds.

If they are lucky, I’ll make a big pot of dirty rice because it is cheap and easy.

I’m thinking shrimp remoulade right now. Easy to make ahead, doesn’t need to be heated, looks festive in a big bowl.

I'm retired but my wife still works. Up until this past year she's always worked in a large office where I sent something for their office party. Over the years I've sent gumbo, crawfish fettuccini, fried turkeys, homemade breads, Caesar salad with my homemade croutons and dressing, multiple casseroles.

Now, she works in an office with 2 other people and they don't have an office party but do attend the company party at a French Quarter hotel complete with catering and top shelf liquor. Matter of fact, tonight's the party.

I try to always send green vegetables for my husband's. No one ever wants to do the boring foods but something needs to balance all those carbs. (They do meals not finger foods)
