Any softshells this weekend?
Sorry, missed this. We are kind of limited on soft shells this weekend. We only have 4 medium soft shell crabs left.

Didn't realize that was you. You must have been the one that bought mussels and clams too?

Yes, we do all our boiling in house. When do you need them by?
We have them all week usually unless for some reason we sell out.

jason....just placed an order for 2 doz. #1 boiled....Janice was a great help....What do you think about transporting those....just pick them up at 5 PM wed and throw some Ice on them or do I need to chill them down in the refrigerator first.

The crabs were good and the paella turned out perfect. The pompano had nice clear eyes. That may be my next purchase.

I would think it would be fine to just put them on ice in a ice chest and transport them like that. We can have them ready for around 4 so all you have to do is put them on ice and you won't have to cool them down since they will be cooled (or at least closer to room temperature that is) down a little already.

Our menu has change slightly. We just added daily specials for monday-friday and also added a "lighter side" menu for those watching their figures.
The lighter side will be a choice of 4 different types of fish along with either steamed veggies or boiled corn on the cob and red potatoes.

Jason-how are the shrimp looking? If your prices are still as low as around the time you opened, thinking about stocking up, since I can't be certain I am going to get back to the coast for another trip before snapper season closes.
From the pics, your fish look really fresh. We have been needing a place to get cobia, grouper and pompano, as this stuff has a short half life at my house.

The prices may have went up a little since we opened but we give a price break of $.50/lb for anyone that buys 10 pounds or more. The price break should be about the same or a little better than when we first moved in.

Yep we get fish in a few times a week and we keep the fish whole for the most part and fillet them for orders which makes the fillets look even better.

Also wanted to mention that we now have some seating. It's kind of limited right now but it's way better than what it's been. We have 4-4person tables so we can seat 16 right now and we plan on adding some more tables in a few weeks.

What scallops will you have available tomorrow? I'm thinking about grilling some up with some of those jumbo shrimp you got.

We should have some U/10 Wet Scallops tommorrow for $10.99/lb.
I could bring in some U/10 dry scallops but they would be a good bit higher than wets. I would probably have to charge $16.99/lb for drys.
