Food
Cochon the Butcher

Carrollton Market
Peche
MORPHO
Coquette
Two Ten Jack
Angeline
Boucherie
Toups

Plus oysters, cheese, and chocolate

* If you've never been you pay to enter and then it is all you can eat and drink. Very nice event to attend and they have PLENTY of food and alcohol. Even wine for the woman if she doesn't like Belgian style beers.

I know they're supposed to have Fou Foune as the beer of the event. The same beer that Polly and them actually helped make this summer in Belgium.

Went last year. Some great sours out there. Fou overrated.

Food was excellent. Had about 30 Murder Point oysters.

Is the VIP tickets worth it?

Depends. I had friends who did the VIP and swore by it. I did not, but I camped out by the Fou table basically from the moment I got there. I had more than my fair share by the time they ran out. It was kinda funny, it was my little group of friends moving basically in a herd. Drink Fou until it was gone. Then the apricot and peach Spon. Then Oude Kriek.

neckbeards gonna neckbeard

All that to say I did not feel like my experience was in any way diminished.

Every year I say I’m going to make it down for this and every year something comes up that prevents me from going

The food was very good as well. I'd say it is unquestionably in the upper tier of beer events. And the atmosphere is wonderful; everyone is just happy to be there and having a good time, which is infectious. I would highly encourage you to go.

Yeah it was a great time and I certainly enjoyed it. A lot of great conversations, food, and of course beer.

Great night yet again....

My favorite food was the pulled pork vindaloo roti from saffron and banana moon pies from Angeline.

This was my favorite, as well. Second best food was the honey braised vanilla bacon from Butcher.

As for beer, my favorites were the Cuvée des Jacobins and the Fou' Foune .

Another great event. Definitely getting increasingly more crowded, but I was still comfortable and lines were manageable.

Mopho, Saffron, and Turkey And The Wolf prolly had my favorite food.

Longest I stayed in any line was 10 minutes tops... that was for Fou so I expected it.... They ran out of Oysters within the first hour and a half again this year.... a few dishes they ran out of and of course beer.

Fou was super underwhelming this year for some reason for me. YMEWK with blackberries is fantastic. Between that and the fruited spon, those were my two favorites this year.

That vanilla bacon from cochon was legit AF
