It is indeed difficult to conceive of How anyone could get full off of 900+ calories with 30g+ of fat. They must have the appetite of a small child.

Prove it. I started a thread last year calling out all the bs liars this board has regarding Canes. In true Louisiana/LSU fashion, we love to rip our own. So, naturally shitting on Canes is the popular thing to do.

I gave up on canes. I always feel AWFUL and sick to my stomach after I eat there, and that sauce is crawfish dip with too much Worcestershire added. They should just sell toast and lemonade.

Got to be honest. I had bigger pieces at the Walmart deli today. Three big pieces with a side of my choosing. Add a drink and the total was around $4.25. #WalmartProud.

I have not eaten at Canes in several years for that very reason...damn good food, but if I spend that much cash, I damn well expect to be satisfied.
I did however, swing through the canes in Biloxi a month or so ago and found the fingers to be every bit as big as they used to be when the Canes around home had just opened. I was so impressed, I went back to the counter and told the manager how satisfied I was with the meal.

I haven't eaten Cane's in a long freaking time. My only reason is the exact reason you said. They aren't chicken strips. More like big nuggets.
The service is always top notch, at least in my experience, they have awesome lemonade, that sauce is great, the establishments are clean......
The only thing lacking are the damn tenders. And in the off chance you get some that are decent size, they're always bland as all get out. No seasoning at all, even salt and pepper.
Too bad because if they got the strips right, the place would be great.
ETA: Spankum knows what I'm talking about.

I rarely eat canes but saw this thread yesterday and it made me want some. I got the 3 finger combo at lunch and I didn't finish it off. So not sure what you guys are complaining about. The $7 or so bucks was worth it.
But canes does claim that they marinate their chicken for 24 or 48 hours or something. They must marinate it in water because you can't taste any seasoning.

You probably get sick because they soak them in a brine with MGG. They said they are considering other options but still do it.
