Taking my little one to participate in a gymnastics camp at the University of Oklahoma this weekend. Staying in the Norman area for 3 nights. Is there anything there not to be missed or remotely good to eat? Interested in all recommendations.

The Diner on Main St for breakfast, Pub W for drinks, bar food, The Garage on Main for a few burgers...

Thank you! Was beginning to think there were no decent places in the entire area. Need to find a place to watch the World Cup on Tues as well.

I am probably a little late with the recommendation but if on your way home you find yourself heading towards Lawton Fort Sill area you may want to try MEER's steakhouse which is north of Fort Sill in the Wichita Mountains.
It's off the beaten path and is no longer a steakhouse. I think burgers are the only thing on the menu. It's adjacent to a wildlife refuge that has bison, elk, longhorns, and prairie dog colonies.
Basically go for a great Sunday afternoon the experience.

Kinda off topic but still on topic so bear with me.
Barry Switzer, old family friend from Crossett Arkansas, has an airbnb there in Norman. Its cool af but not cheap. And he love him some Barry lol
Othello's Italian-American is where he took us.
It wasnt bad but i dont cull many foods.
He also eats at Midway Deli almost everyday if you would wanna meet him he there between breakfast and lunch. He will sign what you want and talk until you wanna kick your own arse.
