Your conservative or liberal leanings should not be showing if you have a beer blog. Talk about beer, not about your need for a safe space.
Alcohol and talking politics have gone together for centuries. The taverns of Colonial America were incubators for the American Revolution. Details of the Constitution were hashed out during happy hour between convention meetings. Bier halls in Germany lead to the rise of the Third Reich. French citizens poured out of dank wine taverns to storm the walls of the Bastille.
Both left and right are guilty of getting easily butthurt over opposing viewpoints. I don't agree with she wrote, but I don't have to. I can drink my beer on my side of the monitor, consider her opinion, and then offer a counterpoint similar to the people of long ago that sat across the tavern table from each other and argued the validity of the Stamp Act of 1765.

This is one of the most pathetic things I've ever read.
What a goddamn snowflake. Get over yourself.

Again, your conservative/liberal leanings have no place on a blog about beer. If you want to talk politics and beer, then don't disguise yourself as a beer blog (i am aware her political beliefs aren't frequently espoused on her site). Call it beer and politics. I'm well aware of the history lesson of the Revolution and it's correlation with bars/pubs. That doesn't have bearing on the subject matter.

She can put whatever stupid shite she wants on her beer blog, she is the owner of that site. However, i don't think people visited her blog to hear her views on politics. I'm not going to beerstreetjournal to hear their opinions on DACA. I go there to get info on new releases. Inputting your biases against one side on a beer blog only irritates people who would like one damn thing in this country not have politics interjected into it.
ETA: in addition, the only issue right now, IMO, that intertwines politics/beer in news right now is the tax cuts breweries are receiving. Even then you can present the story without bias to a political party. Bu stating you want to punch Trump supporters because of their ideology is stupidity at its finest.
