Apparently this place is closed.
It wasn't open long, but they had great sushi, better in my opinion than the old Oki Nago among the buffet choices. That's all I ever had there and they had some unique ones like the New Orlens roll and the Poboy roll. The latter had lettuce on it.
I understand the owner previously had another place (I think Mandarin House or it possibly could have been Oki Nago), but had to open a new place because of divorce.
Info? Opinions?

That was about it - only open a few months.

Did the owner walk around and yell at patrons for leaving a grain of rice on their plate like the other place used to do?

quote:Yeah, my wife found that out herself. Not sure what to make of that. Everything we had was good and fresh.
Yelp reviews look pretty scary

I ate there out of curiosity about 3 months ago on a Saturday afternoon. The food was less than impressive but the clientele is what made the experience so bad. Nothing but trashy people.

It's proximity next to the Golden Corral didn't help its case in terms of clientele.

Yeah next door to a GC and a buffet that says they do sushi, steak, and everything. It has to be good right?

Their steam table food may have sucked, I don't know. But their sushi was great.

You want a good buffet? Hit up Foo Chow in Walker on a Friday or Saturday night. Probably the best buffet I've ever been to, and I've been to many.
