I keep meaning to post a picture of a shrimp poboy from Jed's and one from Parkway next to one another. It isn't comparable. I don't get the love for Jed's at all.

I've only been to Jed's once and I got the Cuban, which is obviously not a traditional poboy. But it was really good.

I always assumed Jed's got a lot of love for the unique poboys they do. I can't go and order a standard fried seafood one. The special ones are too good to me.

I don’t like Jed’s batter for their fried items. I don’t like their roast beef (too dry) or the gravy they make with it. It’s just…disappointing

I enjoy Jed's and really like their meatball poboy and the surf and turf.
I just had the best sandwich ever today at their sister restaurant, Eliza.
Their Croque Provencal is out of this world. It reminded me of the Croque Madam I had at Cafe de la Paix in Paris.

Peck's in Slidell is GOAT shrimp poboy. Inherited the mantle from Captain Humble's after Katrina.

Because when you are sitting in traffic at highland and Lee on a Tuesday, and a craving for a shrimp poboy hits - you just can’t make the trip to Parkway, JED’s will do
I do have to say neither JED’s or Rocco’s are consistent
