Belle's Diner (confirmed)

Red Dog Diner (rumor)

It's also rumored that Rum House NOLA is closing (I know the BR location definitely is), but that's unconfirmed.

I don’t believe the Red Dog or Nola Rum House rumors are correct at all.

Rum house might not be closing in nola but when I passed it the other day it didn’t look like a place in a rush to get back open like some others I passed.

You should remove "rumors"

I talked with someone that knows the owners of those establishments, he knew that BR would likely be closing, he has no knowledge whatsoever of the others being closed and would be shocked.

Let's keep this about places confirmed closing.

The do the highest volume of alcohol sales of any restaurant in the city. They could operate as a bar only and make money

It is tough competing with unemployment checks.

A fast food client with hundreds of employees is operating at max capacity but about 2/3 of the employees will not come back to work. They are making about $300/week more on unemployment than they would by working (and perhaps are not being honest when completing LA Workforce Commission questions regarding whether they have been offered employment in the prior week). The company is offering signing bonuses, with limited success. The House $3T stimulus bill would extend the extra $600/week until January, perpetuating the issue.

A restaurant owner in Lakeview noted similar concerns in a recent TV interview.

I’d be shocked if they weren’t pretty high up there. Gyno is on a position to know.

I have joked about Bordeaux closing, but the high dollar rotisserie in the corner is gone and the place is opened up.

Could have been moved inside for all I know, just noticed it was missing.

Place is about 4-5 months beyond the normal Dominique Macquet shelf life as it is.

I figured whoever was backing him had some money and would ride it out for a while.

Hoping Delachaise owners want to open up another location
