“West Canal”?

This is not a term in NOLA culture so I don’t know what you’re talking about.

Do you mean West End?

I've lived in New Orleans for quite a while and have never heard of West Canal. Do you perhaps mean West Esplanade, West Napoleon, or West End?

I took a second to think about “canal west” but it wasn’t really difficult to understand. No need to bash the guy.

“Way out on canal” - city park area

“Canal west” - that end of canal is west of the other end of canal

OP, Mandinas is my favorite overall any occasion restaurant. Sundays are my favorite as their Sunday menus is different and you get a salad and bread pudding. Hope you enjoy!

They discontinued that special 'Sunday Menu' since covid.

Really? I guess I haven’t hit a Sunday since covid. I know I went about 2 years during covid without going. Been a few times since.

Wait a minute, our friend TulaneLSU is back? Need an update on Mother, and everything that has happened over the last year. Should be quite a post.
