NOLA Food/Drink Tour - What Are the Must-Dos?

Spending a week in NOLA with my fiancé; we’re looking for advice from the experts on where to eat and drink.
We’re staying in the French Quarter area.
I’ve been to NOLA dozens of times, but am obliged for recs on the really good hole-in-the-walls restaurants and bars.
Also, she drinks wine almost exclusively.
Thanks!

If she drinks wine, Bacchanal in the Bywater is a must. It's a little bit of a drive from the French Quarter but totally worth it.
Nola is great when it comes to wines from all over the world. Many restaurants have awesome lists.

Get a poboy from Guys on magazine. Cash only. Great hole in the wall spot.
I also would do Coquette for brunch on the Saturday that you are there.
You cant go wrong with walking up and down magazine uptown.
FQ:
Hit up Lafittes in the quarter for a purple drink, and Erin Rose for a frozen Irish coffee.. Get a french 75 at the French 75 bar in Arnaud's.
I would definitely eat at Peche at some point and get raw oysters. You could either eat dinner there one night or just stop there for drinks and get a dozen while walking around the warehouse district.
If you want to do a fancy dinner one night, I would reccomend Clancy's. Try to get a table downstairs. Get a reservation.
Like the poster above said, Bacchanal is a must.
Another good wine spot- hit up the Delachaise and sit on the patio and watch the streetcars run up and down St. Charles. Get some fries and other apps. After you have had a bottle of wine or two walk down to Fat Harry's and take some shots.

Agree here too. Delachaise frog legs are amazing. It's a real easy street car ride too from the FQ.
ETA: I'd also add Bayou Wine/Beer Garden in Mid-City

Second for Bacchanal if wine drinking is your aim. Also a brand new wine bar opened on Poydras next to Walk On's, think it's called Copper Vine, walking distance from the quarter if youre trying to maybe catch some games and chill. If you can venture out a short step, Elizabeth's in the bywater does an awesome brunch.

Is that what they put where the little pub was? I liked that place. Decent beer menu and less crowded than walk ons on game day.

Yes, it took the place of Happy's Irish Pub. Miss their huge beers on game day.

Longway Tavern is a new spot in the FQ. Def worth getting drinks & food there one night. Sit in the back courtyard.
The chart room & lafites are my fav hole in wall bars in the FQ but they won’t have much of a wine list.
Cane & table solid drinks & food
The hotel bar walk is popular with my out of town guests. Start at the carousel bar at the monteleone, to Arauds French 75, to the Sazerac bar at the Roosevelt. If coming during the holidays the NOPSI hotel may be worth a stop as well.
Seaworthy for some oysters. Good bar program too (CBD)
Stein’s deli for lunch. Turkey & the wolf around the corner are goat hole in wall sandwich shops. Both are uptown.
Copper Vine is a cool spot if you find your way near Poydras. Food sucks so just drinks.
Bacchanal is a yes. One of the most unique spots in the city. Build a cheese plate & grab a bottle of wine & go sit outside & listen to some music. Easy uber from the FQ. 5 Min.
If out that way, pizza delicious, bywater American bistro, shank charcuterie & st roch market are solid eats.

Cafe Amalie and Petite Amalie often, the bar at the Cafe is clutch.
Italian Barrel
Sylvian
A few French restaurants not in the 1/4...
Cafe Degas
N7
La Petite Grocery
Peche
Cochon
Compere Lapin
Take her to the Davenport lounge in the Ritz, One Eyed Jacks for a show, DBA, R Bar, Cosimos, Molly’s for bars...
Too much to recommend, you won’t have trouble finding a good time.
