Any recs for a bar with solid cocktails that will have a good crowd for the game? We will be downtown but willing to uber around.

Not a “cocktail” bar but we did Cooter Browns for the first game. Good beer and food. Strong LSU crowd.

Get your wife a cocktail at bayou wine garden and then get yourself a beer at bayou beer garden. The patios are connected. Win win

Love that place. Most of the seating is outside though and it’s hot as balls.

Same with Wrong Iron

Op another I thought of is the sports bar at the Hyatt. Nice place, but pretty overpriced

Bayou Beer/Wine will be the best spot but it will be a shitshow for sure.

Can’t remember if Barrel Proof has TVs, but the cocktails were outstanding.

Seaworthy for oysters
I've recently discovered this place, especially their happy hour oyster special. It's spoiled me because gulf oysters are now one of my least favorite.
