No 275 degree setting on PitBoss 700FB pellet smoker??

I'm new to the pellet smoke game and recently bought a PitBoss 700 FB. The gold and black one. 
But I'm going insane that this thing doesn't have a notch for 275 degrees... Which is basically what I smoke everything at.
It just jumps from 250 to 300 and if you half notch it, it does nothing.
I'm out of ideas. If anyone has any suggestions or secret settings I don't know about, any advise would be welcome.

Why not just smoke it at 250 for a bit longer?

Have the same one. Just run the 250 for a longer time. Haven't had an issue yet.

Proper smoking is done at 225, what is the other issue?
