I never went to the original. I'm not real eager to go to Tulane ave to drink, however. It's the reason I have yet to make it to Treo.

I wouldn't want to venture to Treo alone, even if the area is slowly gentrifying. Plus I wonder how far I'd have to park from it.

Treo is fine. Usually you can park within a block.

We used to be regulars back in the 70's and 80's. The place in its heyday did not look much different from the picture in the OP. As much of a dump as it was we used to go there in tuxedos after proms. One of the best times was parting there before and after the LSU - Georgetown game in the Superdome when Ricky Blanton won the game on the last second shot. Fun times.
