Yeah, but they gouge on the individual beers. Several of their beers are in the $2-$3.5 range each. My local Winn-Dixie has a flat $9.99 sixer with decent choices. They continue to insist on putting out Dogfish Head Flesh & Blood IPA which sells for $14.99 a six pack. But I build a sixer for $9.99. I don't think they'll ever catch on.

Most of the stuff that ends up on the "make your own" shelf is outdated stuff. Check the dates.

My local Albertsons has a $9.99 build your own six pack. Last weekend, I bought 6 day old Jucifer. Made a six pack of them. The six packs that were out were older and $11.99 each.

The reason I price everything separately

Those places must lose their arse on those fixed price things
