I'm not putting anyone else down. The growth of quality local breweries is something that not everyone knows about. My point was that since folks are headed to N.O. for the game this week, perhaps time visiting these new places would be time well spent.

I just found their beer to be really really good.

And this is perfectly Ok... People can get pretty whiny and opinionated on the subject. I hope every brewery in N.O. is someone's "favorite".

I personally don't think Royal is best of the lot.

It isn't too hoppy, not bitter at all, and a good full flavor
so you're drinking porters and stouts?

Good for you.

Please share what you think is the best of the lot and maybe someone will visit that brewery as well and agree with you.

That's what I'm actually doing here, trying to drive traffic to these great small breweries that folks may not have heard of.

Is Royal Brewing still just brewing the one beer? Culicidae pale ale?

I think so, but I haven't been there in a couple of weeks. I visit NOLA once a month or so.

You try Dixie? It's like Ghost but without the hop bite.

I've heard it's best after a couple weeks as well. The new stuff should be hitting its prime right now.
