One Sunday evening in NOLA.
Downtown/quarter area.
Khakis and button down.

Any lodging recs welcome as well. Same area. Marriott property preferred. Location is more important than the hotel itself.

I know, do a search. Fix the search function to make it usable and I will

Marriott on Canal.

Domenica for dinner.

Given the plethora of info it is the best I can do.

I know it is vague.
I'm thinking about upping my game and staying at the Hotel Monteleone and going to Galatoires. The one in BR gets bashed on, but I assume the NOLA location is still well thought of?

Another thought is Acme. Now that is a place that really gets hammered in BR. I like it, but readily admit it is mediocre food. Is the NOLA location good?

Galatoires or Acme, tough decision. I'd probably do neither, but if those are your choices Galatoires is probably the better choice.

ACME is for complete tourist suckers. Its garbage.

Galatoire's in NOLA is a completely different experience than BR. I mean...completely different places almost.

If you go to Galatoire's eat downstairs only for the full experience. I love Galatoire's. The food is very good. Oysters Rock rock.

Skip Acme. Go to Peche.

You gonna need a jacket for Galatoires, unless you want to wear one of their loaners.

Stay at the Monteleone, have drinks at the Carousel Lounge on Sunday afternoon and go to Mr. B's on Sunday night.
