Alright, let's have it. Which restaurants in NOLA are the best to visit during this time or have the best deals?

The wife and I are totally going to The Rib Room. Just need some other places to go checkout too.

Last year we did Café Degas for a dinner during Coolinary and it was great (Steak & Frites). This year I'm going to try and make it to Upperline. I've never been and that menu looks pretty darn good.

Keep hearing adds about this on the radio and thought they were butchering culinary like they do the 'lewis' armstrong airport on those condor air adds.

Thanks for clearing that up

Commander's
Balise
Boucherie
La Petite Grocery

Commander's always, always has the best Coolinary deal, IMO. Lots of choices.

I am strangely attracted to Seaworthy's deal, actually.

We do a few coolinaries each year but the thing is you are only saving like $5'ish on the totals a lot of these places and have a limited selection.

We have even gone to a few places with the intention on getting the deal and then ordering off the menu.

I haven't looked at the menus, but Frank Brigtsen has been posting some attractive pictures of food from his menu on Facebook.

This smoked pork chop with blueberry cane vinegar glaze looks very tasty.

This thread needs clarification as far as which restaurants you will or wont get knocked out and mugged when leaving

We're going to Toups South Friday.

There are a few places I want to check out in the Quarter including Bayona and the Pelican Club but not sure if I want to deal with the hassle going down there.

Best cracklins in the city.

Burger is the same as the other Toups, lunch only.

They had some blistered shishitos last time I went that were ok, just no bacon.

I liked the goat tamales, but I love goat and tamales.

Had a steak last time I went and it reminded me of Primitivo (pour one out). Maybe it was the location. Excellent.

I like my cracklins with some meat on them. Haven't been everywhere trying them.
