I posted a bit back about going to Chris's Meat and several people said the best place was some place on the West Bank, don't remember where.

This smoked pork chop with blueberry cane vinegar glaze looks very

I had this last time I went. The chop was cooked to perfection but it was over salty. I was hoping the glaze would be sweet enough to balance it out but it was not. Stick to the soft shell crab if you go. The place is generally awesome.

Chris's Meat

I've been once and picked a bunch of stuff up. Thought everything was good there.

I think this year I might have to do Upperline!

What would you recommend picking up? Anything in particular?

The chicken stuffed with crawfish was pretty solid. The cracklins were actually good at the time though I'm not an expert in that by any means. They have a lot of interesting things there. I think they also might change what is in there at any given time but I am not 100% sure on that. Only been once and I thought things were good. I would like to try other things there again before I give a final rating though.
