Looking to take the wife to NO this weekend for our anniversary, what’s the best fine dining restaurants with either steak or creole foods?

Mostly going to be around the garden district. Is Indigo a good hotel? Looked at some Air BnBs but most didn’t look very inviting.

doris metropolitan i think is the best fine dining steak in the city.

Indigo is alright. Already runndown some. But, Mr Johns is a half block away for great steak. Pair with the rooftop bar at Pontchartrain Hotel, Hot Tin.

Anniversary?
Calll GW Fins make a reservation & tell them it’s your anniversary. They will decorate the table & place a souvenir Happy Anniversary-menu on the table as a gift. Women love that shite - cheers

Unless the Saints are playing the next day it isn't that hard.

This. It's a very busy weekend in Nola.

If open table doesn't show openings for the place you want to dine, call the restaurant.

I admit that contingent likes fine dining, but getting into somewhere like Mr John's isn't going to change.

A restaurant in the quarter, marigny/bywater will probably be full.

My favorites are Clancys, Upperline, Coquette, and Patois. Maybe not all "fine dining", but all put out high quality fare

Did yall settle on a place to get dinner or still looking for options?

If you are planning to stay in the LGD or uptown suggestions will likely change
