"New" La Boulangerie

Went to La Boulangerie for the first time today since the Link Restaurant Group took over, I must say I was disappointed. While the ham and cheese croissant I had was decent, the selection was lacking. There was no quiche, no croques, no danish. The pastry selection was about half of what it used to be.

Did you ask why there was a reduction in selection? Is there a problem? I'd let a manager know if the decrease in satisfaction is that significant.

I did ask about the croques, they said they didn't make them anymore. Not sure about the rest.

Two people in my office used to go there at least once a week and are saying now how the quality and selection has dropped off.

Can't speak to the croquet or danish, but I had a quiche there the other day (post link) and it was stupid good.

Went a week or so ago, just after lunch, and the selection was decent. Had a salted caramel eclair (excellent) and an espresso, which was terrible....it has those horrible burned peanut shell overtones. If I hadn't taken it to go, I would have asked for a refund or new shot.

Had a bad feeling this would happen...we went one last time the week they closed
