What beers that you haven't tried yet do you have your heart set on this year?

Last year was very prolific for me as far as new beers go, but there are still plenty white whales to chase. Just a few I would like to try:

Bell's Hopslam
Firestone Walker Double Jack
Russian River Beautification
anything by Hill Farmstead.

I caught all my white whales this year plus some i never thought I would get to try. having said that, I think i'm gonna try to make it back to Vermont this year and there is a small brewery outside of philly called tired hands that ive been hearing amazing things about that i'd like to go to.

Absolutely. In fact, we'll help fund the trip.

As to your question, I'd like to try Pliny the Younger, which will require a long trip, and whatever Hill Farmstead beer rutiger says I should try.

I think I've tried damn near everything. My resolution is to drink down my cellar and spend a lot less on beer. I am gonna spend that money on hiking and camping gear.

I resolve to get to 1,000 unique beers on Untappd.

After that, gonna slow it down. Try to brew more and enjoy my own beer. Will try to spend a bit less on beer this year and more on just enjoying what I have on hand while trying to come up with some unique homebrews.

Do you have an at home cellar or is most of your stuff in storage? Storage has got to get expensive yeah?

Also been curious on the hidden values of a $300 cellar reserve membership for 10 beers? (I have friends in denver who could pickup for me, the idea has been in my head for sometime. I know I'm probably too late for 2013 but still would like to know)

TIA

we are on the same path but going in opposite directions.

I'm looking at expanding long term storage. Then another freezer and back to brewing.

a fine beer.

I tasted butter rich scallops (yes scallops) and spices among other things. Very unique, complex and awesome brew. Prob the best thing I've had out of France. Not so good when it warms up over 60 ish.

Had it at the cove.

I'm intrigued.

How much was Tom charging for it?

I have both a wine fridge here at home that is full and I rent a locker at a wine cellar by downtown. The rental space is only $15 a month so it isn't much. The off site is great because I can't open bottles when I get a few in me. I also have bottles in my basement. It has gotten out of hand. My two main drinking buddies here moved last year so I am rolling solo on tastings.

The reserve membership is cool if you live here because I get 20% off bottles and draft at the tap room. You also get the ten releases that you wouldn't be able to purchase without being a member. Honestly out of the 10 releases last year about 5 were great and the other 5 were meh. You get 2 bottles of each release so you should split a membership with someone.
