I just won a bet with a buddy regarding a certain election. Winner picks dinner, loser pays. Help me pick. Down for anything.

I've heard good things about Desi Vega's. Does the board have an established opinion about them?

I'm sure it's great. Most of the mentions here have mirrored that.

August tasting menu with wine pairings might feel a little awkward with another dude but that would be my meal of choice

La boca would be another good option

There are so many choices. Can you narrow this down a bit?

Steak, seafood, casual, location, cost??? Are there restaurants you haven't tried yet, but have on your bucket list?

I mean we're both born and raised nola. Neither of us are necessarily foodies, but we're trying to check out some cool stuff. I haven't been to any of the aforementioned restaurants. Steak or seafood would be ideal.

Business casual and considering the odds that Trump actually won, I'll go ahead and say cost is not a factor haha

Compère Lapin gets a lot of love here.

Shaya would be on my list.

Emeril's new restaurant, Meril, has some interesting dishes on the menu.

Friday lunch at Galatoire's is celebratory.

My advice is to find a way to back out of the bet based on a technicality.

Otherwise, Coquette
