Thomas Keller and Michael Chiarello are joining us for Christmas dinner so I am super anxious

we're pretty excited about some special guests at our christmas dinner this year, too. a long lost cousin that my aunt gave up for adoption when she was 15 got in touch with us for the first time and is coming over. also, another cousin that ran away from home b/c her parents were drug addicts got married, and her and her new husband might come. i hope they bring good white elephant gifts.

guess what we're eating? seafood gumbo. i'll try to remember to post pics.

I do too. I'm not stressed about cooking for family, but these upitty threads are a good substitute.

Not to hijack and ruin the fun, but has anyone ever made a mushroom lasagna?

Saw a recipe the other day and looked legit

Not mushroom, but I did the zuchinni lasagna those two chicks made when they threw down with B. Flay.

It was pretty good.

one would think after reading this thread that the title was Lasagna and not WFDT Lasagna.

I think so. It came out good. I wondered if frying the zuchinni had to be done. They said it helped hold the whole thing together.
