Yeah, I come back in here to read that crap and now I'm not surprised by anything I see in here.

I don't know if there is a dish beyond reproach on here.

After looking at the gumbo thread I'd suggest not calling everyone out on what they do wrong based on assumptions and concentrate on your own homework.

i adore brussel sprouts! People who hate them need to have them made right first! But I hate the minty taste of Italian sausage that comes from the herbs in it. Hate hate hate. No real reason other than i hate most minty things.

interesting. i don't 'find italian sausage really "minty" per se, but it definitely has some herbal flavor. I could see someone not liking that.

Why would you suggest that? I don't come around here posting things because I'm looking for people to pat me on the back. I welcome criticism. And, as is obvious, I am always ready and willing to give some of my own.

No shite, that gumbo thread was horrid! Not so much because of the dish....if anyone new to cooking/the F&D board would have posted that thread it would be perfectly acceptable.

It was my first time ever cooking it.

But for the self proclaimed king of the kitchen (via all of his criticisms of pretty much any and everything that someone shares on here) to flaunt a sorry arse gumbo thread like that....well it was eye opening to say the least.

lol. yeah, I talk so much on here about what a great chef I am.

hey man, whatever gets your juices flowing. if you need to make up shite about me to support your dislike then more power to you homeboy.

again, complete fabrication. unless you want to show me some evidence where I claim to be "high class."

I was shocked to see him asking for help on the OT about is Insignia (Best Buy brand) TV. Surely he wouldn't stoop to a generic TV.

My friend was moving out of state and wanted to sell it. 38" for $250. not a bad deal so I took it. it was certainly an upgrade from the 32" Samsung I had had since 2005.

Judging people on what kind of television they own. And they say I'm a douche.

People don't wanna argue on this board.

It's what separates us from the rant.

I'm cool with substituting ingredients, next time add some seasoned italian ground pork and try Classico Italian tomatoe sauce. Monjuni sauce is a little on the sweet side.

look's good

Who's arguing? I thought we were having a discussion. I'm here to learn, not bicker. And that goes both ways. I'm not here to post and "looks great!" to every single post and make people feel better about themselves. That's what mothers are for.

Y'all are more than welcome to rip my food apart, give me suggestions, pointers, tips, criticism. I fear, though, that from now on anything I post will automatically be shredded simply for the fact that some people don't like me.
