Anyone have a good recipe for a whole seed mustard? I'm not a fan of regular yellow mustard, but really enjoy some of the higher end real mustard. I'm making Homemade Bratwurst at the end of the month and would like to serve it with Homemade Mustard to impress my buddies. TIA.

I was passing Google when I saw this thread, so I went in and asked. They suggested this link. .
I’m sure you can vary it to your tastes.

If you're going this far, take a look at pickled mustard seeds or mustard seed caviar. Similar flavor to mustard but with a different texture. The seeds pop as you bite them. Good luck!

I made one similar to the link minus about 4 things listed there. Utilizing both yellow and brown seeds. Problem I found was finding the damn brown seeds. Tried multiple stores with no luck. I got the recipe from here FWIW .
If I remember correctly you soaked the seeds either in vinegar or a dark beer, for a day or two then blended them with vinegar and garlic and GOD I don't remember. I have it printed at home. If I find it I will circle back. There are tons of recipes out there. AB has one on the webs as well.

Whole Foods has white brown and black seeds. Add turmeric for the yellow. I’ve made a few but never could quite get the right one. Need to try again.
