Saw this place mentioned in a previous thread during the week. The wife and I decided to give it a try today and all I can say is this board didn't disappoint yet again. The food was fantastic and those burnt ends

Very good place to eat, I will always recommend it. Not a bad beer list either

Cork you are from that area right? Any hidden gems or other solid places you would recommend? My parents are constantly going to the coast and just discovered there are places to eat besides casinos a few years ago thank God.

Samurai on Hwy 49 near Pass Rd has great sushi and a la carte cooked food.
They can check the reviews.

You know 10 minutes from Murky Waters is a brewery that overlooks a lake

Bacchus on the beach in pass Christian is my new favorite.

Corks and cleaver is a new fine dining in Gulfport

Soigné is a new fine dining in downtown os. Same owner as Bacchus.

Half shell in Biloxi across from hard rock is always good

Captain Als is a rough little dive in Gulfport but best steak and shrimp on the coast. To say it's casual is an understatement.

I agree with all of Cork's list with the exception of Captain Al's. It is a decent dive, but hardly the best steak on the coast. I would recommend Cora's or Ruth's (consistently the best Ruth's I've dined at) for the best steak on the coast.

True about not being the absolute best steak on the coast part.

I just love their steak and shrimp special though. Everything from the salad to the twice baked potatoes.
