When I was a kid, for school lunch they used to make this thing called potato pie that was basically mashed potatoes and ketchup mashed together in pie form. That was pretty appalling...

I don't care how enlightened, reasonable and opened minded you frickers think you are, ketchup doesn't belong on a hot dog.
You eat whatever you want, but don't pretend you aren't a trashy piece of shite on the same level as well done steak with A1 sauce.

I used to eat it on white rice when I was a kid

So why does ketchup not belong on a hotdog? Outside of Chicago people obsessed with no ketchup on a hotdog.

A hot dog with sauerkraut and ketchup isn't that bad. It's not like mustard on one, but it's passable.
