Re-read the sentence of mine you quoted.

Should I have said "it's not mocking people that advocate craft beer?"

I can only get past that with BCBS, which is fantastic. Their sours are average when compared to a lot of the farmhouse/sours put out by other breweries. Their standards are pretty weak (Honkin', 312, etc...). My opinion.

I agree with that

Sofie. :)

I'll add that I definitely don't blame them for selling out, and would probably do the same thing (early retirement!!!). However, once they've made the leap...

agreed; InBev taking over brewing of GI's regular lineup has also allowed GI to increase capacity and distribution area of BCBS, Vintage Series, and Vintage Reserve Series beers.

It has more to do with how big companies like InBev, Miller/Coors, etc. act than the beer they produce. They put a lot of work (all the way down to their local distributors) into harming craft brews. I just don't want them getting my money. They don't need it anyway.

ETA: If you lived in a state/area where AB InBev openly lobbied against laws that would allow the sale of most craft beers, you would probably feel the same way that I do.

this article is funny coming from the network that has a show devoted to beer snobbery

I have come to the conclusion that Rohan is either a really good troll or really insecure.

He made fun of my slightly feminine ice chest tailgating a few weeks ago, so I think he's just really insecure.

Just so you know, I never did pick up any boudin when I went to BR.

Hit something in the road on I-16 heading up to ATL. Spent Friday morning getting a new tire, so got to BR too late.
