I'm looking for pointers on where to eat in the Miramar Beach area during a long weekend. My wife and I are about to go down there for our first anniversary.

Get a reservation at Cafe Tango just to the east.

Yep tango is great. Went a couple weeks ago.

Vintij and Emeril’s @ sandestin are really good as well. Emeril has been there most of the summer and does a great tasting menu.

Fat Clemenza’s is great Italian

We’re heading that way, Old Seagrove, this weekend...anything new worth trying around 30A?

Excellent for a quiet, romantic anniversary. Call today...can be hard to get onto...for good reason.

I really want to get to Emeril's , Cuvee 30A and The Bay.

The Bay? Haven’t been to that one. We enjoyed Pescado last year, but we’ll need to stay closer to Old Seagrove if we sneak out for a date this time.

Oh, I’ve been there. They get slammed in a way that’s hard to even imagine...like 3x as many people outside on the bay as inside, waits so long you’re pie eyed by the time you’re seated (maybe that’s just me), but our couple of meals were great. Some serious talent out there as well.

Emeril’s Coastal Italian was very good early this summer.

Haven't been yet, but our neighbors raved about the small plates at Blue Mabel's in Blue Mountain Beach

Maybe I just order well (usually a blackened fresh catch), but I’ve always enjoyed my meals there. We’re not going this time, but just because we’ve done it enough...not because it sucked.

Seagar's is the best steakhouse
Cuvee is phenomenal as well
We've done Marlin Grill in the past - good but not spectacular
Louisiana Lagniappe and Boschamps are both solid
We are going to try Bijoux this year

Cuvée in Destin is closed. He’s on 30A now.
