Well they just lost a head brewer to 3 Floyd's according to the article Todd who has Todd the Axeman named after him.

Surly is great, but there's been an "exodus" of some of its employees that have been there for quite some time. Most recently, and the two most noteworthy, have been Todd and Linda, who are now at Three Floyds.
The company did an incredible job with its facility in the Twin Cities. Absolutely one of my favorite summer spots when I am up there. Actually headed to Minneapolis the weekend before Thanksgiving, so I am excited to get back into the taproom.
