Mexican Food Recommendations For Sedona

We ate at Elote. It was decent. Didn't think it lived up to the hype I read online, but the 2 hour wait for a table may have had something to do with it. If you have nice weather, I recommend getting a table outside to watch the sunset.

Mariposa was great and had an amazing view. Creekside was also good and in a cool spot.
Can’t go wrong with either but if I had to pick, I’d say Mariposa. Enjoy

Elote, head there early for dinner so you don't wait 2 hrs. Sit outside.
Mariposa, dinner outside at sunset.
Drive oak Creek canyon. We upgraded our rental to a convertible at airport on the cheap. Beautiful unobstructed views.

Just came back from spring break there.
- Mariposa is great. Definitly a do again.
- Elote ain’t worth waiting 1.5-2 hours to be seated inside. 45 minutes to sit at the bar. We got as far as fish tacos tapas and the fish were fried into jerky. Wanted to complain but hell the owner/chef with the long gray hair served our plates. Hotel it’s in is where we stayed and definitely recommend it though.
- Not mexican, but hit up Pisa Lisa for pizza and dessert. We found out why that place gets full. Place was legit.
