You can call ahead to be put on the wait list, which helps, but there are way better brunches in BR.

We even did that. Called before we left my place, drove there, stopped for gas, and then still had an hour 45 minute wait.

I don't dislike the food but it aint worth waiting that long when I get go to Chimes right down the road and get the same thing for similar prices and get out before I would even get a table at Masons.

I walked in - ordered a beer - went to piss, saw the bathroom, walked out without even going back to the bar for the beer I ordered. Guess I cost them a beer.

That bathroom hasn't been cleaned since Curtis Pedigo and his wife were running the joint.

Ha, I have a love hate relationship with Mason's Grill. Yes, the place is dated and unappealing inside and needs a makeover badly. And yes the men's bathroom stinks and is disgusting. It wasn't until about a year ago that they installed toilets that actually flush.

I don't/won't eat the food at Mason's, but their drink prices are the best in BR although the bar area gets way too hot in the summer due to their shitty AC.

Mason's Grill & George's on O'Neal need to have a Nasty-Off contest.

You talking about Big Heads Tavern maybe? I've never been. It's owned by a poster. I tried to go there once but gave up because I couldn't find it. Sir Drinksalot told me that it's next to that Chinese Restaurant in that shopping center and it has a very small footprint which explains why I couldn't find it.

My friends go every weekend. I tried it once with the SO, and both purchases were terrible. Fake cheese, frozen hashbrowns, cold eggs, and the list can go on. I guess the alcohol keeps people coming back

It has been a couple things over the past years. Think it is just a sportsbar type setup.

The previous rendition was promoted, at heat lengths, on Buddy Songy's old show.

I always see that place and Goodwood Grill, and think I should probably check them out. But I never have.

Used to meet the wife at Goodwood Grill when she worked in the hood.

Alright place, gets crazy busy at lunch time. Might be better since the hospital has moved.

Yeah, after about 2 minutes inside George's your skin & clothing will reek of the stale grease smell that's a constant inside that nasty place.

I like the atmosphere at City Cafe, but other than the oysters, the food there is just not very good.

If you are looking for burgers, sandwiches or brunch it isn't that bad (Granted, BR has better spots for brunch imo)
