Charlotte. Guess they don’t have a monopoly on that nickname.

Charlotte - Queen City

We need the outdoor board cooler guy to handle planning the route, and I think we could get it done.

Now this is starting to remind me of the bottle deposit scheme Newman and Kramer hatched.

Most Maryland blue crabs come from Lake Pontchartrain, few come from Chesapeake Bay.

I plan on purchasing Maryland Blue Crabs for my wife's birthday. If you have ordered (shipped) those before and had a good experience, who do you use?

The board has spoken and given advice regarding where the blue crab fishery and market is. That being said, as you are in NC, you should check out Locals Seafood in Raleigh - not sure if they have NC crabs available now but they do have local NC seafood for sure - LINK

Also, you may wish to check out Mattamuskeet Seafoods in Hyde Co., NC - they have a large crab picking and oyster shucking business and supply a large deal of picked crab meat to outlets such as Phillips Seafood and MD restaurants. They may have connections to secure you with live blue crabs as they are connected very well with that fishery. LINK - and btw, they have awesome crab cakes.

Thank you for the contacts. About three weeks ago I ate oysters and scallops at the counter of the Locals location in Durham. It was awesome. Will contact both. Durham Food Hall
